As we make our way towards the time of year with the least amount of daylight and the longest nights, we recognize darkness as a powerful teacher. Humanity is currently going through some very dark and sad times, and we know (just know!) that the antidote to the suffering is community and care and remembering and working towards building something new and beneficial to all of humanity. It's as if we've been given a whole lot of "not this, not this" and now we are here to determine what will be next. What do we dream of in these dark times? What can we visualize for the future? How can we turn towards more life, more caring?
This Winter Solstice, and always, we remember that we belong to each other. This Winter Solstice, we bring our whole selves to the circle, grieve what we need to, celebrate what we can celebrate, and dream up the future that we can dedicate ourselves to working towards. We remember, as we come together, that our capacity for the hard work ahead immediately increases when we join together.
Join Hope Hamling, Stacey Pickering, Samantha Jones, and Hayleigh Robertson for an evening of community, tea ceremony, sound bath, tarot, and movement. Our annual gathering is always connective and life-giving.
