Sacred Seasons Yoga

Let's circle together, diving deep into the wisdom of yoga and weaving it with the virtues of the season through rituals that include:

~ Ceremony, where we call in Spirit, celebrating the season, relate to the elements and directions as kin, shine a spotlight on life transitions, intention setting, and offering gratitude through song, incense, movement, and prayer.

~ Yoga, that is therapeutic, somatic, trauma-informed, fluid, and meditative, and in alignment with the season.

~ Chanting mantra and vocal toning, which gives voice to our emotions and prayers.

~ Self healing through massage and reiki.

~ Oracle Card Reading and Storytelling with Animal Spirits.

About Caressa:

Caressa Joyce is a Yoga / Massage / Energy Therapist and a Life Cycles Celebrant. She started practicing yoga in 1996 and the style of yoga that I practice and teach is a combination of Integrative Yoga Therapy, Viniyoga, and Chi Gung, which are all slow, mindful and therapeutic approaches that adapt to the unique needs of each individual.

She received her 200 hr level of Yoga Teacher certification through the Brahmrishi School in Kent in 2006 and her 500 hr level through the Purusha School in San Francisco in 2010.

She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, practicing for over a decade, and offers a variety of massage styles, which include traditional table massage, pre/post natal, and Traditional Thai Yoga Massage, which she learned in Thailand in 2010.

She is a Certified Energywork Practitioner, Reiki Master, and since 2006, has been offering the healing modalities of Intuitive Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu.

She is a certified Life Celebrant as of 2007, and while creating ceremonies started as a way to unite the folks in her community around the cycles of the seasons, it continues to evolve into an offering of guidance through many of life’s rites of passage.
